Start with solution demand, not pack size

Product consumption is driven by the amount of nutrient solution the facility actually uses. A practical estimate therefore starts with plant count and litres per plant per week, or with total facility litres per week if that number is already known.

Separate Veg and Flower

Water demand usually changes as plants develop. A better estimate separates Veg and Flower rather than applying one weekly number to the whole crop. For more accuracy, the Detailed mode can accept a different weekly solution volume for each stage.

Add crop duration

Veg days and Flower days determine how many schedule phases are applied. The calculator maps those durations to the corresponding CANNA grow-schedule stages and prorates partial weeks where necessary.

Convert the solution demand into CANNA product litres

The calculator combines the facility solution volume with the phase-specific manufacturer dosing reference. This produces an estimated litre requirement for each selected CANNA product per crop cycle.

A & B base nutrients are ordered as pairs

For Coco and Substra base nutrients, the public order calculator groups A & B as matched sets. One 20 L A&B set means one 20 L container of A plus one 20 L container of B.

Convert litres into 20 L + 5 L order quantities

After product demand is calculated, the tool rounds to practical 5 L increments and uses as many 20 L packs as possible while keeping overage low. The result is intended as an order estimate that the customer can send to CANNA Thailand for confirmation.

Note: Actual facility consumption can differ because irrigation volume, runoff, environment, cultivar, source water and operating strategy change during a crop cycle. Use the estimate as a purchasing baseline, then refine it from real consumption data.
